	b. 1. All join hands and circle left around one girl who stands in the center holding a hat in her hand. At 2, she chooses a part­ner from those in the ring, draws him into the center, places the hat on his head and at 3 gives him a kiss. She then (at 4) joins the players in the ring. 	got a pig in the par - lor, And it is I - rish too. 1.    We've got a pig in the parlor,54 We've g t a pig in the parlor, We've got a pig in the parlor, And it is Irish, too: 3 times We've got a pig in the parlor, And it is Irish, too. Refrain:— 2.    Oh it's left hand to your partner, 3.    The right hand to your neighbor, 4.    The left hand back to your partner, 5.    And we'll all promenade: 3 times 6.    Swing your left hand lady round, And we'll all promenade.55 My father and mother we Irish: 3 times And I was Irish, too: 3 times My father and mother were Irish, And I was Irish too.
	54.     After the first stanza the words are:—"We've got a new pig in the parlor, or "We've got the old pig in the parlor," to agree with the game. 55.     The refrain has the same tune as the stanzas.
